Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on Friday to america’ announcement that it was keen to carry talks with Tehran on a return to the nuclear deal, saying Israel believes the previous settlement will “pave Iran’s path to a nuclear arsenal.”
“Israel stays dedicated to stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons and its place on the nuclear settlement has not modified,” the Prime Minister’s Workplace stated in an announcement.
“Israel believes that going again to the previous settlement will pave Iran’s path to a nuclear arsenal. Israel is in shut contact with america on this matter.”
