Is President Trump The Most Successful Stand-Up Comic Ever?

RCP: Scott Adams: Trump Is The Most Successful Stand-Up Comic Ever; Democrats Want To Burn Down The Country Because They Don’t Get The JokeDuring Monday morning’s “Coffee With Scott Adams” podcast, the comedian and ‘Dilbert’ creator again discussed Joe Biden’s repeated references to what Adams calls the “fine people in Charlottesville” race hoax. Last week, Adams extensively explained how a simple edited video has convinced tens of millions of people that President Trump ever praised members of hate groups after the deadly clash in Charlottesville 2017.

This week, he compared the “fine people” hoax to the newest outrage about the president, The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg’s “anonymous source” alleging that the president insulted those buried in an American war cemetery during a visit to France in 2018.

Scott Adams explains why Trump is successful with his followers using humour at his rallies (go to the 21:10 mark in the above video). I cannot disagree with Scott Adams on this one. There is definitely a lot of entertainment with President Trump at his rallies, and my gut tells me that is why he attracts tens of thousands to his gatherings. And it is true about his opponents. They see no humour in anything that President Trump does. On a side note. President Obama was also good on the stage when he went off the teleprompter and used humour to criticize his opponents. But in his case his opponents knew what he was doing (using humour), unlike today where most of Trump’s opponents will not even acknowledge that. As for Chris Rock’s joke on former Senator McCain that some are saying President Trump stole, you can see it below.
