CNN: The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief says his story about Trump calling vets ‘losers’ is just the beginningNew York (CNN Business)Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, said his magazine’s story about Trump calling Americans who died in battle “losers” and “suckers,” was just the tip of the iceberg.
“I would fully expect more reporting to come out about this and more confirmation and new pieces of information in the coming days and weeks,” Goldberg told CNN’s Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter on “Reliable Sources” Sunday. “We have a responsibility and we’re going to do it regardless of what he says.”

WNU Editor: Even though scores of individuals and officials who were with President Trump on these trips say that he has never called soldiers who died in wars as losers, Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, says that he has multiple sources who have confirmed these allegations. Multiple sources who still want to remain anonymous because they are afraid of “angry tweets” ?!?!?!? And now he is pushing the line that his anonymous sources have more to give to him?!?!?!? For almost four years we heard from anonymous sources that President Trump was colluding with the Russians, to learn at the end this was all false. And we are now being told to believe this new line. That these sources must remain anonymous because that is how I must do my job. I have been around long enough to know what a disinformation op looks like. And this refusal to back up these accusations is beginning to make me wonder if this is one of them. There mistake is that this is being pushed now. Their October surprise is a little early.
