The coronavirus illness 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has added extra stress to an already high-stress occupation: American public faculty instructor. The authors of this report share the outcomes of a brand new survey of practically 1,000 former public faculty academics and reveal how essential stress has been—much more so than pay—to academics’ selections to depart the occupation.
