Is there anything wrong if the average Muslim took a non-majority position on a theological matter? : islam

Assalamu ‘alayk my friend. “Theological matters” or matters of ‘aqidah, are not judged by the majority. The majority do not follow the true ‘aqidah of the salaf, as the imams of the salaf and Sunnah such as al-Hasan al-Basri, Imam al-Awzaa’i, Imam Sufyan ath-Thawri, Imam al-Bukhari, Imam Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyaad, Imam Sufyan Ibn ‘Uyaynah, for example, have stated.

Likewise we know from the hadith of the 73 sects, that only one of them will be saved from entering the hellfire, and those are the ones upon the way of the prophet, salAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam, and his companions.

So we must study the aqidah of the prophet, his companions, and the salaf who the prophet, salAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said were the best generations, and then we must follow that and stick to it.

Also by the way, what do you mean by ‘the debate’. Qadhi’s ya’juj and ma’juj claim, or about evolution?
